There was once a little girl who loved jumping on the bed. Her mother warned her that she could fall and get hurt but this naughty girl just did not pay heed.

She would enjoy herself jumping whenever her mother was not looking. One day she learnt her lesson the hard way. She was jumping on the bed when she fell and hit her cheek on the wooden bedpost. Suddenly there was blood everywhere – on the bed, on her cheek, on her cloths and on the floor.

The girl screamed in horror at the sight of so much of blood. Her wound which had been numb at first began to throb with pain. Her mother ran to her room on hearing her screams. She was shocked to see what had happened. She quickly went to attend to her child’s wounds. Luckily she was able to stop the flow of blood.

The girl was comforted and then washed and cleaned. The room took much longer to clean before all traces of blood were removed. The girl was lucky that she did not need any stitches. This incident left a tiny scar on her cheek.

This scar still reminds her that she did not listen to her mother. She does not jump the bed anymore but now loved jumping on trampolines and jumping castles.
