Ad Description: Competition snapshot• Race Her Way In is a JoziKart and Motorsport Girls Academy initiative to develop young female racers (ages 13+). It’s proudly women-owned and focused on making motorsport welcoming and accessible.
• Prize: A fully paid entry into the Motorsport Girls Academy Camp (valued at about R16,000+; covers academy fees only—travel, accommodation, and meals are not included).
What makes it different
• It’s not just about raw speed. Judges look for growth, commitment, resilience, coachability, attitude, and motorsport potential.
• Representation matters: seeing women lead and compete makes motorsport feel possible for young girls.
How it works
• Two rounds, all at your local participating JoziKart branch:
1. Round 1 — Branch Evaluation (100 points)
Scored by branch managers across: Commitment & Participation (20), Improvement & Development (30), Attitude & Sportsmanship (20), Confidence & Resilience (15), Motorsport Potential (15).
Top 5 at each branch become semifinalists.
2. Round 2 — National Evaluation at each branch (100 points)
National judges visit each branch; they assess the full journey from first to last session across: Overall Growth & Development (30), Commitment & Discipline (20), Attitude/Sportsmanship/Coachability (20), Confidence/Resilience/Grit (15), Motorsport Potential (15).
Judges: Fabienne Lanz (Founder, Motorsport Girls Academy) and Mary-ann Benjamin (JoziKart Representative).
Winner for each branch is announced at the end of its evaluation session.
Entry basics
• Who can enter: Girls aged 13+; beginners welcome—no prior racing experience required.
• Where: Participating JoziKart branches. All sessions must be completed at the SAME branch.
• Costs: Once-off registration fee R500; track sessions are booked and paid for separately.
