RECIPE

STEAK & KIDNEY PIE

Ingredients
¾ kg steak cubed- ¼ kg kidneys (lamb) - 2 tblsp butter - 1 onion chopped - 3 tsps crushed garlic - 2 tsps crushed green chillies - Salt to taste - 1 tblsp lemon juice - 1 tblsp lemon pepper.

Method
Cook steak and all ingredients on a low heat until tender and until ½ cup liquid is left. Add 3tblsp cake flour and cook until thick. Remove from heat allow cooling. Put filling into pastry shell. Makes one big pie or small ones.
