Two male goats/sheep should be slaughtered for the Aqeeqah of a boy and one male goat or female goat for the Aaqeeqah of a girl. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood)

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom amongst us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom amongst us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us stray after him. [Sunan Abi Dawud] (Aameen)

LIME ACHAAR (PICKELS) Ingredients :
12 limes – must be yellow
¼ cup rough salt
½ cup fine red chillies
1 bottle white vinegar (750ml)
2 tbsp sugar

Method:
- Wash the limes and put in pot with water and give it one boil.
- Remove from heat and leave in pot till slightly cool, then cut into bite size pieces.
- Add salt and chillies and mix well.
- Fill in a jar and add the vinegar on top.
- Close the jar and give it a shake.

N.B Leave aside for a few days.

Sometimes when you go on vacation, it seems that the weather is playing a joke on you. The weather is always good until the moment that your vacation starts and then it turns nasty.
