RECIPE

MARIE BISCUIT DELIGHT
Ingredients
1 Pkt Marie biscuits - 125g butter - 1 egg (beaten) - ¼ Cup sugar - 250g dates (cut up)

Method
Break up the biscuits and keep aside. Melt the butter and sugar on the stove on a medium heat. When the butter is melted add the dates and simmer till soft. Remove from the stove and add the egg very quickly and mix it very quickly, now add in the Marie biscuits very well. Flatten the mixture in a baking tray and sprinkle with fine coconut. When it is cooled place it in the fridge. Cut into squares before serving.
