How Many Rakaats Will A Lady Read At Her Parents Home

Question: After getting married, does a lady read full Salaah or Qasar Salaah by her parents home?

Answer: After a woman gets married, her husbands home becomes her new place of residence.

When traveling to her parents home, if it is 78 kilometer or more from the boundary of the suburb where she resides to the residence of her parents, then she will be considered a traveler if she intends to stay there less than 15 days.

In that instance, she will make Qasr and perform two rakaats salaah in Zohar, Asr and Esha.

Roghni Naan Recipe

Breakfast and Tea-Time Treats__Recipes

• 4 cups flour
• 2 healped tblsp ghee
• 1 packet 10g instant yeast
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup yoghurt at room temperature
• 1 egg
• 2 tblsp sugar
• lukewarm milk to make soft dough

Method
Beat egg and yoghurt together. Sift flour and salt. rub in ghee and rest of ingredients. Make dough with yoghurt and milk.

Leave to rise. Make 8 to 10 balls. Roll out thick, brush ghee and sprinkle tal/ sesame seeds. Bake till done. Can be frozen.

TWO MONGOOSES

A zookeeper is ordering new animals. As he fills out the forms, he types “two mongeese”. That doesn’t look quite right, so he tries two mongoose, and then two mongooses.

Giving up, he types, “One mongoose, and while you’re at it, send another one.”
