Revenge Of The Big Toe Nail

Oh, the woes of the big toenail, growing inwards, causing us to wail.
It aches and throbs making us pale.

We trim it down, hoping to cure it, but it grows in for sure.
We poke and prod, making us want to scream and roar.

Left uncut, it's a different tale, cutting our socks and shoes without fail.
We can't prevail against the vengeance of the big toenail.

So we suffer in silence, hoping for relief in a mysterious way.
It seems it's here to stay, come what may.

Oh, the revenge of the big toenail, it's never-ending without fail.
We may try to fight, but it always seems to prevail.

CHICKEN AND SPINACH TREMEZZINI

6 Pitas
2 cups chicken fillet cubed
1 onion finely chopped
1 Tbsp green masala
Salt & pepper to taste
1 bunch spinach shredded
¾ cup grated cheese.

Method
Brasie onion ghee till light brown. Add chicken masala, salt & pepper & cook. Once meat is cooked add spinach. Let spinach cook till water is burnt out. Lastly sprinkle 2 Tbsp flour over spinach & add ¼ cup milk, this will make a sauce. Do not let mixture get dry. Leave to cool & add cheese (feta cheese can also be added optional). Slice pita in ½ add filling. Close and grill on tawa till light brown.

INSULIN SHOT

I’m a registered nurse, not a doctor, but here’s the story:

Patient was a newly diagnosed diabetic who needed to be taught how to inject insulin. So the diabetes educator did the good old routine of taking an orange, drawing up insulin, then injecting it into the orange. He then made the patient repeat this practice routine a few times.

The patient goes home, etc. He comes back in a week and his blood sugar is out of control. They ask him if he's been taking his insulin and he goes "of course." So they decide to ask him to demonstrate how he injects insulin. The patient goes "sure, I just need an orange."

At this point I started face palming hard because I know where this one is heading. But of course they got him a orange and a vial of insulin with a syringe. So the guy draws up the insulin correctly, takes the syringe, injects it into the orange, and then says "and then I eat the orange."
