WEARING A TAWEEZ

Question: Is it permissible to wear a Taweez(Amulet)

Answer: It is permissible to wear a Taweez provided that:

1. You places your trust in Allah Ta’ala.
2. Have conviction that benefit are harms is in the hand of Allah.
3. And the wordings of the Taweez must be correct and acceptable. (There should be no words of Shirk in it)

اجمع العلماء على جواز الرقية عند اجتماع ثلاثة شروط ؛ ان يكون بكلام الله تعالى وباسماءه وبصفاته ،وباللسان العربي أو بما يعرف معناه من غيره ، وان يعتقد ان الرقية لا تؤثر بذاتها بل بذات الله تعالى ( فتح الباري ج١٠ص ١٩٥ - كتاب الطب)

CHOC MINT CUPCAKES

125g Butter
1 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1 teaspoon Peppermint essence
½ teaspoon green food coloring
2½ cups cake flour
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
Pinch salt
1 cup milk
1 cup desiccated coconut

Nutella Chocolate spread - to fill and decorate
Grated peppermint crisp chocolate to decorate

Method:
Preheat oven on 180 degrees. Line 24 muffin tins with paper cases. Cream butter, sugar, essence and coloring until light & fluffy. Add eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.Add milk Fold in siftedflour, baking powder, salt and coconut lastly. Spoon half the batter evenly into 24 paper cases.Add in the centre of each muffin ½ teaspoon chocolate spread. Spoon remaining batter evenly over chocolate spread. Bake at 180 degree for about 25 minutes until done. Once cooled Decorate with the grated peppermint.

THE BAD MATH CLASS

There was a teacher who was shouting at his class because they were being lazy. "I wouldn't be surprised if 50% of you failed this math class," he said.

One of the kids raised his hand, "But teacher, there aren't that many in this class," he said.
