  Often, we find ourselves thinking about what will happen a few days, months, or even years from now. We may even ponder over incidents that happened previously. These tendencies are categorised as unmindful behaviours and are commonly known as not living in the present. more

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari 50:894)

Abu Huraira RA reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) as saying: "There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd numbers.." (Sahih Muslim Book-48 Hadith-5)

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom amongst us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom amongst us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward and do not let us stray after him. [Sunan Abi Dawud] (Aameen)

30 DAY HEALTHY MUFFINS

Step 1
1 cup oil
2 eggs
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 cups milk

Whisk the above ingredients together.

Step 2
1 ½ cups flour
1 cup nutty wheat
2 cups digestive bran
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup chopped dates
½ cup raisins
¼ cup sunflower seeds
2 Tbsp bicarb

Mix above ingredients together.

Combine step 1 & step 2 bake at 180 degrees for +- 10 – 15 minutes. This mixture stays upto 30 days in the fridge. Bake as needed. Serve with butter & honey or even plain.

Wrong Number

I still have a lot of trouble with wrong numbers.

Yesterday, I dialed the Red Cross and got the Internal Revenue Service in error.

So, the IRS operator asked me what number I had dialed.

I said, "The Red Cross, you know, where they take the blood."

She said, "Well, you aren't too far off, are you?"
