Last right

The body is lowered by the near and dear,
with dignity in its final resting place.
Surrounded by a sombre crowd paying their respect.
They shovel the sand partaking in the rights.
Waiting with patience as the grave fills.
They derive satisfaction from fulfilling the right of the deceased.
Death is not a separation it is liberation.

These days they use a bulldozer to fill the grave.
The crowd scatters as the dust rises.
How harsh, as though burying a dead fish.
The reality of being buried six feet under hits home.

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom amongst us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom amongst us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith. RED VELVET CUP CAKES

Ingredients:
1 and a ¼ cup flour
¾ cup sugar
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp cocoa
½ tsp salt
½ cup buttermilk
1 egg
¾ cup oil
½ tsp vinegar
½ tsp vanilla essence
1 Tbsp red food coloring

Method:
Sift dry ingredients. combine liquids, Mix dry ingredients into the wet ones, bake at 180 for 15-20 mins.

Icing:
Beat half a tub of cream cheese smooth. Add a ¼ tsp of vanilla essence, and a ¼ cup of sifted icing sugar and beat smooth. Gradually add 1/3 of a cup of fresh or double cream and whip till mixture is a pipable texture.Top with a crystallized rose petal, or two.

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY

After conducting a preliminary investigation about home burglary, the homeowner is very anxious if he could get back his stolen belongings.

Homeowner: "Officer what is the chance of me getting my things back."

Police: "It's very unfortunate this happened. I am sorry even if we catch the culprits, chances are your properties are already sold or gone."

Homeowner: "What should I do?"

Police: "Better lock next time."
