The Mighty Oak Tree

The mighty oak tree sways and dances in the breeze.
Giving shelter to birds that nest on trees.

The mighty oak tree gives shade to every passerby,
whether he goes far or nearby.

It grew from a sapling to a mighty oak tree.
The oak tree is majestic and from all needs free.

The oak tree stands like a king among trees,
Desiring neither thanks, reward, nor any fees.

The oak tree stands tall with roots deep and wide.
Be like an oak tree that endures with pride.

RECIPE

CLASSIC LAMINGTONS RECIPE

125g butter or margarine. Room temperature
1 cup castor sugar
2 eggs
1 and a half cups sifted cake flour
1 tsp Cream of Tar Tar
Half tsp Bicarbonate soda
Half cup milk

Cream butter and sugar well. Add in eggs.. beat the 2 in a bowl then add. Beat for a while with eggs. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Alternate with milk and add to creamed mixture. Beat well. A good mix with the spatula. Pre heat oven to 180 deg. Grease pans well. I used mini cup cake pans. Spoon batter into the pans..3 quarter way full. Put to bake ..at least 20 min..till golden color. Cool for a while.

Prepare Syrup
1 cup boiling water
60g butter
1+ half cup Icing sugar
1 + half tsp vanilla essence
2 Tbsp. cocoa

Whisk well and bring to a boil. Set aside to cool. Dip a few cakes . Using a spoon or your hands. u need to work quickly Then. Leave in a bowl. Roll in coconut

THE SMILE

One afternoon, a man went to his doctor and told him that he hasn't been feeling well lately. The doctor examined the man, left the room, and came back with three different bottles of pills.

The doctor said, "Take the green pill with a big glass of water when you wake up. Take the blue pill with a big glass of water after you eat lunch. Then just before going to bed, take the red pill with another big glass of water."

Startled to be put on so much of medication, the man stammered, "Jeez Doc, exactly what is my problem?"

The doctor replied, "You're not drinking enough water."
