• Gauteng Senior Officials to Visit Tembisa Today

  Several high-profile Gauteng provincial officials, including MEC for Human Settlements Lebogang Maile, will visit the troubled Tembisa Township in Ekurhuleni today. This week, four people were killed, and municipal buildings and vehicles were set alight during volatile and violent service delivery protests. The violence was condemned by, among others, Gauteng premier David Makhura. more

CROISSANTS RECIPE

3 ½ cups flour
1 tblsp instant yeast
3 tblsp sugar
1 egg yolk
1 cup milk
1cup water
½ pound butter cut into 3 equal parts.

Mix together yeast, sugar and flour and 1 part butter and make into breadcrumbs Add beaten egg yolk. Warm water and milk, it must not be too hot just warm. Mix a little at a time to make soft dough. Knead well. Let rise to double its size. Roll out and grate 1 part butter and sprinkle maziena.Fold like pie dough and refrigerate. Roll again and grate last part of butter with maziena. Fold and refrigerate. Roll small parts of dough of in rounds and cut like pizza slices. Slit center opposite the point Add filling if desired or leave plain. Roll up tightly Let rise on tray for about 30 minutes Brush beaten egg Bake at 180 d until golden brown Brush apricot jam while still hot. Enjoy

At a school for the mentally challenged, the teachers wanted to see if the students’ health had improved.

The and empty plates and called all the boys to sit around the table and eat .teachers said "start eating"the boys were eating but there was no food on plates but they were busy eating.

But one boy was not eating and teachers became so happy and said to each other.this boy must go home he is no longer mad.

Principal said"wait let ask him why he didnt eat; if he say there was no food on table it means he is fine and no longer mad.they asked him(why you did not eat"he said'" i dnt eat beef"
