  We have thus covered two women related to Musa AS i.e. his Mother and his Sister and we have learned some wonderful lessons and characteristics which they displayed. Today we will take a look at Asiyah, the wife of Firoun. Musa AS was handed this particular fate of having been raised simultaneously by another woman of renowned fame, and that was Asiyah, who in some measure had become his adoptive mother. more

  Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has named a co-founder and spokesman of the Al-Shabaab, Muktar Robow as minister for religious affairs. A move that could help strengthen the fight against the insurgents or provoke further clan clashes. more

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari 50:894)

Abu Huraira RA reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) as saying: "There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd numbers.." (Sahih Muslim Book-48 Hadith-5)

BAKED VEGETABLES IN FRESH CREAM

Ingredients

½ butternut
2 small sweet potatoes
2 small gem squash
½ tin cream style sweetcorn
1 cup fresh cream
salt to taste
lemon pepper
green chilies to taste

Method

Cube the sweet potato and butternut. steam all the vegetables with salt and pepper. scoop flesh out of the gem squash and put all the steamed vegetables in a casserole dish. mix creamstyle sweetcorn with fresh cream, salt and crushed green chillies to taste. pour over vegetables and bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

That's A Fair Point

A guy walks into the human resources department of a large company and hands the executive his application. The executive begins to scan the sheet and notices that the applicant has been fired from every job he has ever held.

"I must say," says the executive, "your work history is terrible. You've been fired from every job."

"Yes," says the man.

"Well," continues the executive, "there's not much positive in that."

"Hey!" says the guy as he pokes the application, "At least I'm not a quitter."
