  • A gentle admonition of Moosa AS – Part 3

    So the story begins at the time of Moosa AS with Bani Israel gathered around him, as mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari.

    Hadhrat Ubai bin Ka`b (RA) narrates that he heard Allah’s Messenger (SAW) saying, ‘While Moosa was sitting in the company of some Israelites, a man came and asked (him), ‘Do you know anyone who is more learned than you?’ Moosa replied, ‘No.’ So, Allah sent the Divine Inspiration to Moosa: ‘Yes, Our slave, Khadir (is more learned than you).’ Moosa asked how to meet him (i.e. Khadir). So, the fish, was made, as a sign for him, and he was told that when the fish was lost, he should return and there he would meet him. more

Butterflies

Butterflies flutter by,
Soaring in the sky.

Children will do anything,
To touch their wing.

Like little fairies dancing in the breeze,
You cannot get them to freeze.

Whisper a wish and release them to mingle,
Allah listens to even the nimble.

RECIPE

Nutty wonders

Ingredients:
1 cup caramel
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup melted sugar
1 cup peacan nuts
1 cup crushed marie biscuits
Nuts for decorating
Chocolate for coating

Method :
Mix melted chocolate together with all other ingredients. Roll into balls and allow to set in refrigerator. Dip into chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Leave to set.
