Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "He who desires to be rescued from the fire of Hell and to enter Jannah, should die in a state of complete belief in Allah and the Last Day, and should do unto others what he wishes to be done unto him.'' [Muslim]

Commentary: It stresses steadfastness in Faith and virtuous deeds because the time of death is not known to anyone. Since one can die at any moment, one should never be unmindful of the obligations of Faith and good deeds so that he embraces death in a state of perfect Faith. This Hadith has the same meanings which are contained in the Verse 102 of the Surat Al-`Imran exhorting the Muslims thus: "And die not except in a state of Islam [(as Muslim) with complete submission to Allah].''

Every Muslim should treat people as nicely as he himself desires to be treated by others.

STEAK CASSEROLE

Ingredients
½ pkt spaghetti boiled in salted water - ½ kilo steak (cut into strips) - 1 tsp green chillies - 1 tsp salt - Pinch Arad - 1 tsp Dhana jeero - ½ tsp lemon pepper - ½ tsp white pepper.
Cook steak with above masala until tender. Tomato Chutney
4 tomatoes liquidized - 1 onion chopped - Curry leaves - 1 tblsp red ginger garlic masala - 1 tsp salt – Arad - Dhana jeero.
Cook until thick.

White sauce
½ litre milk - ½ tsp salt - 2 tblsp flour - ½ tsp oreganum - Black pepper.
Mix all to a paste.

To assemble, layer a long Pyrex dish with spaghetti. Layer steak over the spaghetti. Pour the tomato chutney over then pour the white sauce over. Top with grated cheese and bake in an oven on 180 for 30 mins.

FARMER IN THE BIG CITY

A farmer went to a big city to see the sights. He asked the hotel's clerk about the times of meals.

"Breakfast is served from 7 to 11, dinner from 12 to 3, and supper from 6 to 8," explained the clerk.

"Look here," inquired the farmer in surprise, "when am I going to get time to see the city?"
