Dealing with people Who Can’t Admit that They Are Wrong

Don’t take it personally – Such people are highly insecure with a very fragile ego. Once we understand this it will be easier for us not to take their behavior personally. New people that will meet them will be put off by their blame but eventually they will realize that such people treat everyone the same, it’s nothing personal. Sayyadina Qataadah Radiyallahu 'Anhu reports: "I asked Anas Radiyallahu 'Anhu, 'Did Rasulullah (Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam) dye his hair?"' He replied: "The. hair of Rasulullah (Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam) did not reach such a stage where one would use a dye. Rasulullah (Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam) had a few white hairs on his temples, but certainly Sayyadina Abubakr Siddiqe Radiyallahu 'Anhu dyed with Hina and Katm".

Commentary: Katm is a type of grass, which is used for dying the hair. Some people say the colour of Katm is black, and if mixed with Hina it becomes red. Others say the colour of Katm is green, and if mixed with Hina it gives a black tint. Mulla 'Ali Qaari RA says: 'The one that gives more colour is considered. If more Katm is used the dye becomes black and if more Hina,is used, it becomes red'. The use of both colours are permissible, but black should not be used. It has been forbidden in the Abaadith to use a totally black dye.

NACHOS RECIPE

1 Pkt of Doritos – Fusion flavour
250ml sour cream
Cheese
Optional extras: cooked mushrooms, green peppers, gherkins, etc
Chicken cubed +- 1 ½ cups

Marinate with:
1 tsp salt
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp dhana ground
½ tsp jeero ground
¼ tsp arad
1 tsp red masala

Cook the above in 1 Tbsp ghee/ oil. Once half way cooked add ½ grated tomato.

Once cooked add:
1 Tbsp sweet sour sauce
2 Tbsp sweet chillie sauce – simmer on very low for 5 minutes
Don’t let the sauce dry out.

Method:
Switch on oven at 180 degrees. Than start to layer nachos, reason being that Doritos should not get soft with the chicken sauce. In an oven proof dish – small square / rectangle, layer the base with Doritos crisp +- half the pkt. Then layer the saucy chicken over this, Throw mushrooms, pepper, gherkins, on top of the chicken. Now spread ¾ cup of the sour cream over this. Then layer the rest of the Doritos over the sour cream. Top with grated cheese. Dot with the rest of the sour cream. Sprinkle oregano if desirable. Bake for +- 10 – 15 minutes or until cheese starts to melt. Serve while hot.
