Surah An-Najam 53: - (The Star)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful

("so, turn away from him who turns away from Our advice, and seeks nothing but (pleasure of) the worldly life..." (53:29-30)

The Necessity of turning away from the Misguided People

A Special Warning: The Noble Quran describes the condition of those unbelievers who denied the Hereafter and the Day of Judgement. Regretfully, nowadays the Muslims have characterized themselves by the same condition as a result of Western influence and material needs and desires. All our attempts to make progress in the fields of various branches of knowledge, sciences and arts pivot on, or revolve around, economics. These do not think even by mistake about 'Ma'adiyyat' (matters relating to the Life Hereinafter).

We believe in the Noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) and hope for his intercession. But Allah commands the Noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) to withdraw from the people of misguidance and shun them. We seek refuge in Allah from such misguidance!

I got the call
I heard the news
My mind when blank

Bubbly and laughing
Making jokes and planning ahead

What had happened
When and how did it change?
What was so painful

Bright and open

MUTTON CHOPS WITH SAUCE

1 kg chops
1 tblsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
1 tsp black pepper
½ tblsp fine salt or to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
A few cloves, cinnamon sticks elachi..
1 large onion chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 ½ tblsp fine red chillies
1 tblsp fine dhania
1 tsp Arad- turmeric
Some chopped green dhania

Method:
Marinate chops in garlic, ginger, pepper, salt and lemon juice and rub well. Heat oil with cloves, elachi, and cinnamon and add chopped onions and chops. Allow to simmer on a low heat until chops are done. Add tomato sauce chillies, dhania and Arad. Cook on a medium heat for 5 -7 minutes. Lastly add in fresh cut dhania.

FOUND CELL PHONE

When a customer left his cell phone in my store, I scrolled through his saved numbers, stopped at "Mom" and pushed send. His mother answered, and I told her what happened.

"Don't worry," she said, "I'll take care of it."

A few minutes later, the cell phone rang. It was "Mom."

"Martin," she said, "you left your cell phone at the convenience store."
