| THE STORY | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her close friend who was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would do anything for her friend. So, one day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. Now she could see everything, including her friend. Her friend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you be my best friend now?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her friend too was blind. Her friend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying. "Just take care of my eyes dear." This is how our human brain changes when our status change. Only a few of us remember what life was before, and who was always there for us. Even in the most painful of situations. |

HOW TO DEAL WITH TELEMARKETERS If they say they're John Doe from XYZ Company, ask them to spell their name. Then ask them to spell the company name. Then ask them where it is located, how long it has been in business, how many people work there, how they got into this line of work? etc. Continue asking them personal questions or questions about their company for as long as necessary. Say "No", over and over. Be sure to vary the sound of each one, and keep a rhythmic tempo, even as they are trying to speak. This is most fun if you can do it until they hang up.
