Surah Al-Qamar 54: - (The Moon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

"...The Hour (of doom) has drawn near, and the moon has been split asunder..." 54:1

COMMENTARY: "The Hour (of doom) has drawn near" and this statement is followed by one of its proofs, that is, the appearance of the miracle of the moon being split asunder. There are many signs of the Day of Doom; one of them is the advent of the last of the Prophets Sayyidna Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) itself, as reported in a Hadith 'I was sent like this with the last Hour' and he pointed with his middle and index fingers. There are many other Traditions mentioning that the advent of the Noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) is close to the Day of doom. Likewise, a great sign of Doomsday is the miracle of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) when he split the moon into two pieces, then he rejoined them. The disbelievers of Makkah asked the Messenger of Allah to produce a proof in support of his claim, and he, with the dispensation of Allah, split the moon into two parts. This miracle is verified by the concluding part of this verse: 'and the moon has been split asunder.'

Ingredients
1 chicken cut cleaned and washed
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tblsp garlic
¼ cup oil
2 tbslp red chillies – depending on your taste buds
1 tblsp tomatoe sauce
2 tblsp hot Steers peri peri sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp aromat

Marinate chicken with the above ingredients. Cook or braai until done
SAUCE
125g butter. 1 tsp garlic. Juice of 1 lemon. ¼ bottle Nandos peri peri extra hot sauce or substitute with any other peri peri sauce. 1 tsp Robertson’s peri peri. Heat up sauce ingredients in a pot. Throw over chicken just before serving.

TOUGH ACCOUNT

Jones applied to a collections agency for a job, but he had no experience. He was so intense that the manager gave him a tough account with the promise that if he collected it, he'd get the job.

Two hours later, Jones came back with the entire amount.
"Amazing!" the manager said. "How did you do it?"

"Easy," Jones replied. "I told him if he didn't pay up, I'd tell all his other creditors he paid us."
