THE VIRTUE OF KNOWLEDGE By Sh Abdul-Hameed Ad-Daaghistaani Servants of Allah! Fear Allaah and know that knowledge is the way to obtain fearfulness of Allaah, and this fearfulness leads to gaining His pleasure, as Allaah says what means, “And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allaah from among His servants who have knowledge. Indeed, Allaah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving” (Faatir: 28). Moreover, it is more likely that Allaah wills good for the one who acquires knowledge, as the Prophet sallallaahu’ alaihi wasallam said, “When Allaah wishes good for someone, He will bestow upon him the understanding of religion” (Bukhaari & Muslim). read more |

FOR A WOUND OR PAIN IN THE BODY Put some saliva on the index finger and place it on the ground in such a way that some soil sticks to it. Thereafter, place the finger on the wound or pain and recite the following Dua: Bismillahi turbatu ardhinaa wa reeqatu badhina yushfaa saqeemunaa bithni rabbinaa bithnillah. “In the name of Allah from the soil of our earth and the saliva of one of us, may our sickness be cured by the order of our Lord, Allah.” [HISNUL HASEEN by Al-Jazri] |
