Signs in the Universe By Sh Muhammad Al ‘Uthaimien - Imaam of Haram Praise be to Allaah, the King, the very Truth that makes all things manifest. He manifested to His servants the signs with which they can draw lessons and guidance. I testify that there is no god but Allaah, with Whom there are no partners, the Lord of the first and the last. I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, who was sent as a mercy for Jinn and Mankind. May Allaah bless him, his family, Companions and those who follow them until the Day of Judgment! O people! Fear Allaah and praise Him for the signs He has shown to you that which indicate His Oneness and His ultimate Lordship. In all surrounding things, we find evidence that Allaah is the sole God, Who is perfect in Knowledge, Power and Mercy. Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth. Whoever looks at the sky with all its glory, perfection, altitude and firmness will come to realize Allaah’s limitless power. Read more |

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) has said: "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari 50:894) Abu Huraira RA reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) as saying: "There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd numbers.." (Sahih Muslim Book-48 Hadith-5) الْخَافِضAL-KHAAFIDH: The Reducer, The Abaser, Al-Khaafidh, Ar-Raafi’ is the One who lowers whoever He willed by His Destruction and raises whoever He willed by His Endowment. |

When Dad Goes Shopping My father was completely lost in the kitchen and never ate unless someone prepared a meal for him. When Mother was ill, however, he volunteered to go to the supermarket for her. She sent him off with a carefully numbered list of seven items. Dad returned shortly, very proud of himself, and proceeded to unpack the grocery bags. He had one bag of sugar, two dozen eggs, three sausages, four boxes of detergent, five boxes of crackers, six eggplants, and seven green peppers.
