THE MESSAGE |
The Sahabah (RA) and the Preservation of the Noble Qur’aan
The Sahabah (RA) played an important role in the preservation of the Quraan and bringing the Quraan to us. It is the great favour of Allah (SWT) that he has revealed the Quraan for the guidance of this ummah. The Quraan is the rope that connects us with Allah (SWT). When you are reading the Quraan you are talking to Allah (SWT) directly. It has been revealed for our guidance. Every aspect of the Quraan is noble, learning understanding it and practising it, even looking at the words is a form of worship. We have many copies of the Quraan in front of us. The Quraan is the eternal word of Allah (SWT).
At the time of the creation of this world, Allah (SWT) instructs the pen to write and the Quraan was written on the preserved tablet. It was during the month of Ramadhaan that the Quraan was revealed, it was transferred from the preserved tablet to Baitul- Iza to this world. It was revealed to Nabi (SAW) over a period of 23 years, a gradual revelation. Jibra’eel would come down and there were other ways of revelation. According to the circumstances, the Quraan would be revealed to Nabi (SAW). Nabi (SAW) encouraged the sahabah to read and learn the Quraan. read more |

If someone is in doubt as to whether a particular limb has been washed in Wudu or not, then that part should be washed. But if the doubt crops up after completing the Wudu, one should not worry, Wudu is complete. But if one is certain that a particular thing has been left out, one should complete it.

THE
SMILE |
VOCABULARY
CONFUSION
A very intelligent boy was fortunate enough to be receiving
a far better education than his parents had enjoyed, and his
vocabulary far outstripped theirs. One day he came home from
school and said “Mommy, may I relate to you a narrative?”
“What’s a narrative, Gerald?” she asked.
“A narrative, Mommy, is a tale.”
“Oh, I see,” said his mother nodding, and Gerald
told her his story. At bedtime as he was about to go upstairs
he said, “Shall I extinguish the light Mommy?”
“What’s extinguish?” she asked.
“Extinguish means to put out, Mommy,” said brainy
Gerald
“Oh, I see. Yes, certainly.”
The next day the clergyman came to tea and the family dog began
to make a nuisance of himself, as a dog will, by begging for
goodies from the table.
“Gerald,” said his mother, trying to impress
“Take that dog by the narrative and extinguish him!”
