Surah Ar-Rahman (The All-Merciful)

This Surah is Madani, and it has 78 verses and 3 sections

With the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

The Rahman (The All-Merciful) [1]
has taught the Qur'an. [2]
He has created man. [3]
He has taught him (how) to express himself. [4]

COMMENTARY: (He has created man. He has taught him [how] to express himself. .. 55:4) Man's creation itself is a great boon of Allah and in the natural order of things he is first and foremost, so much so that even imparting the knowledge of the Qur'an, which is mentioned first, can only take place after his creation. However, the bounty of Qur'anic knowledge is mentioned first, and the creation of man later, because the fundamental object of man's creation is to impart to him the knowledge of the Noble Qur'an, and for him to follow its guidance as stated elsewhere in the Qur'an: "(And I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except that they should worship Me.) [51:56] Surely, worship without Divine guidance is not possible. The source of the Divine guidance is the Holy Qur'an. Thus Qur'anic knowledge is mentioned before man's creation.

Kiri cheese kebaab

1 kg chicken mince
1 big onion (grated)
4 potatoes boiled and mashed
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp pepper
2 tblsp green masala
2 eggs
1 tblsp dhana jeeru
Freshly chopped parsley & dhana
Mix well together.

2 boxes Kiri cheese
2 punnets mushrooms (finely cubed)

Steam mushrooms with salt and pepper and butter, when cool mix with kiri cheese. Make small balls with the Kiri cheese and mushrooms. Thereafter take kebab mixture and pat around the Kiri cheese and mushroom balls, to form a ball around the kiri cheese. So basically the kiri cheese will be in the centre of the kebab. Dip in egg and breadcrumbs and fry.

A VIRTUAL PERSPECTIVE

I overheard my nine-year-old son on the phone with a friend discussing a computer simulation game. The game involved creating a family, a house for them to live in, and so on. My son, an old hand at the game, gave this warning: "Whatever you do, don’t get kids. They don’t bring in any money, and all they do is eat."
