THE ATTRIBUTES OF THE PROPHET, PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM By Sheikh Ali ibn Abdur-Rahman Al-Hudhaifi - 26 Muharram 1435 His Eminence Sheikh Ali ibn Abdur-Rahman Al-Hudhaifi, may Allah preserve him, delivered the Friday khutbah entitled, “The Attributes of the Prophet, Peace and Blessings Be upon Him”, in which he talked about the great blessings which Allah has bestowed upon mankind, foremost of which is the blessing of sending the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. In the course of the khutbah, he mentioned some of the perfect physical attributes and noble character qualities of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and touched on his good traits. read more |

Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) saying: "Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention, Allah will exalt his mention ten times.'' [Muslim] Commentary: Recitation of Salat upon the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa sallam) means the recitation of benediction. Such as the one recited in Salaah "O Allah, have mercy on Muhammad...)'' It is a prayer for mercy and exaltation of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa sallam) which is highly meritorious. (At-Tirmidi) |

POTATO SAVOURY RECIPE Ingredients The Dough 1 cup flour The Filling 4 medium size or 3 large potatoes cubed then add salt to taste Cook cubed potatoes into the following spices until nice and soft. when cold cut up some dhania and mint and add to potatoe filling. divide dough into small ping pong size balls. roll into small rounds and add potatoe filling. brush edges with flour and water paste. bring all sides together in the centre. fry in deep oil and serve with chutney of choice. this savoury freezes very well. |
