SIGNIFICANCE OF 10 MUHARRAM

Sh Usamah bin Al-Khayyat - 09 Muharram 1434

All praise be to Allah! We praise Him, seek His assistance and guidance, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Him from the evils of our own souls and from our wicked deeds. Whoever Allah guides no one can misguide and whoever He misguides no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, Who has no partners. I also bear witness that our Prophet, Muhammad, is His servant and Messenger. May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and Companions.

Servants of Allah!

The Prophet of guidance (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) prescribed for the nation the fasting of this great blessed day, in gratitude to Allah, be He exalted, for the blessings of saving Moses (Peace be upon Him) and the believers who were with him, drowning Pharaoh and his troops, highlighting the strong rapport amongst the prophets ‒peace be upon them‒ and making clear to them that their religion is one though their divine laws are different. read more

LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN.

“ There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.”

BENEFIT: This Dua is the Dua of Yunus AS when he was in the bosom of the whale. If this Dua is recited when making Dua then Allah SWT will most certainly accept the Dua.

Mango Float

1 X 410G Can Ideal Milk, Chilled over night
2 large mangoes pureed
¾ x 397g can condensed milk
2 -3 large mangoes cubed

Whip ideal milk until thick.
Add mango puree and condensed milk.
Stir in chopped mangoes
Refrigerate for 5-6 hours and serve well chilled.
