Spreading kindness in the home By Sh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid Sayyadatina Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "When Allaah (may He be glorified) wills some good towards the people of a household, He introduces kindness among them." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad in al-Musnad, 6/71; Saheeh al-Jaami, 303). According to another report: "When Allaah loves the people of a household, He introduces kindness among them." (Reported by Ibn Abi al-Dunya and others; Saheeh al-Jaami no. 1704). In other words, they start to be kind to one another. This is one of the means of attaining happiness in the home, for kindness is very beneficial between the spouses, and with the children, and brings results that cannot be achieved through harshness, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allaah loves kindness and rewards it in such a way that He does not reward for harshness or for anything else." (Reported by Muslim) |

When Ghusl becomes Fard on a person, it is Haraam for him to enter a Masjid. However, it will be permissible if there is a dire need. For example, the door of someone's house opens out into the Masjid and there is no other way for him to come out nor is there any other place where he could stay. It will be permissible for him to make Tayammum and go into the Masjid. Or, for example, there is a Ghusl facility in the Masjid and there is no water anywhere else.; To make Tayammum and go into that Masjid will be permissible. ~ BEHISHTI ZEWAR ~ |

Sausage Roll 6 cups cake flour Steam sausage and allow to cool. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Melt butter in lukewarm water and milk and allow to cool. Whip eggs into above mixture. Make a well in the flour mixture and pour in fluid mixture. Stir or mix thoroughly and allow to rise for about an hour. After rising make balls approx the size of a roti ball. Roll out bake roti approx to a size of a side plate cut in half and cut out 3 triangles from each half. Dot mebos chutney or or any other chutney in the centre before placing down sausage piece of approx 3-4cm. Roll from the broad side of the triangle and place on baking tray allowing it to rise for a while before baking. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds before baking. Bake at 180 C for 20 – 30 minutes or until golden brown. |
