An-Numan Ibn Muqarrin RA

The tribe of Muzaynah had their habitations some distance from Yathrib on the caravan route which linked the city to Makkah. News of the Prophet's arrival in Yathrib spread rapidly and soon reached the Muzaynah through members of the tribe who had left and returned. One evening the chieftain of the tribe, an-Numan ibn Maqarrin, sat among the elders and other members of the tribe and addressed them: "O my people, by Allah, we have learnt only good about Muhammad, and of His mission we have heard nothing but mercy, kindness and justice. What's wrong with us? Why do we tarry while people are hastening to him?" "As for myself," he continued, "I have made up my mind to leave early in the morning to join him. SAUCY STEAK PASTA

1 packet noodles
Half kilo steak cubed
Peppers: yellow red and green
Carrots
Onions
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
Sour cream
Fresh cream
Creame style sweet corn

Braise all the veggies in butter wit a lil veggies spice. Then add steak wit a lil garlic wit steak n chops spice and barbeque spice. Boil noodles. Once steak is cooked add to noodles. Add cream style sweet corn. Just before serving add fresh cream and sour cream. Garnish with fresh peppers dhania and spring onion.

PEOPLE's TALK

Mulla Nasrudin and his son were riding the donkey to the town market. A group of people passed. Mulla heard them whisper: "What times are these? Look at those two, have they no mercy on the poor animal?"

Nasrudin, hearing this, tells his son to get off and continue the journey on foot. Another group of people passing by and seeing this comment: "What times are these? Look at this man. His poor son with his frail body has to walk while he at his best age is riding the donkey!"

Hearing this, Nasrudin tells his son to ride the donkey and he himself gets off to walk the rest of the way. A third group of people seeing this remark: "What times are these? This young man is riding the donkey while his sickly old father has to walk!"

Hearing this, Nasrudin tells his son to get off the animal and they both walk with the donkey trailing behind. Another group passing by point to them, laughing: "Look at these idiots. They have a donkey and they are walking all the way to the market!"

As many mouths, as many opinions.
It is impossible to please everyone.
