Surah Al-Nahl 16: - (The Honey Bee)

With the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

And Allah has given an example that there was a town, secure and satisfied, with its sustenance coming in plenty from every place. Then, it turned ungrateful to the bounties of Allah; so, Allah made it taste hunger and terror (cast over it) like a garment in return of what its people used to do. [113]

COMMENTARY: The similitude mentioned in this verse is general and universal. It does not relate to a particular habitation. During the Prophet's time there was a famine in Makkah al-Mukarramah for seven years so much so that they were compelled to eat animal carcass and filth. Then, the chiefs came to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) with the plea that those who had committed disbelief and disobedience against his call were all grown-up men. Women and children were innocent.
Thereupon, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) arranged to have food supplies for them sent from Madinah al-Taiyyibah. (Mazhari)

Abu Sufyan, while still in his state of Kufr, requested the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)... "You teach kindness to relatives and mercy and forgiveness. Here are your people standing on the brink of destruction. Please pray to Allah for the removal of this famine from us. Thereupon, the Holy
Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) prayed for them and the famine was gone. (Qurtubi)

Indeed, they were not sent, they answered the call

Millions around the world will congregate
To profess one true, pure faith

The excitement builds in every heart
To thread the footsteps of Ebrahim's (A.S.) path

Among them, a lucky few that wont return
Forever their spirit of martydom will burn

Even though, Eid with the family they will miss
It means nothing, for the journey of Hajj is priceless

The waiting list for this epic journey forms a long que
But i have hope, one day i will be from the accepted few

Gourmet chicken burger

Chicken fillet cubed
Marinate in the following n cook with olive oil

Lemon pepper
Steers chicken marinade
Red Masala
Bbq spice
Mixed herbs

Cube potatoes n fry till golden
Season with Paprika, salt n dry parsley

Sauce
4 tblsp Mayonnaise,
½ tsp tlemon pepper
½ tsp Dry parsley,
aromat
1-2 tsp Sugar,
1 tblsp vinegar

Stir well-sauce should be abit runny-so u can add more vinegar as needed
Shredded lettuce as required Slice burger buns n toast lightly in a hot pan Put abit of shredded lettuce and a spoonful of chicken n top with cubed potato chips Drizzle over mayo sauce
