Surah Al-Hadeed 57: - (The Iron)

With the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful

"We have indeed sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Book and the Balance, so that people may uphold justice. And We sent down iron in which there is strong power, and benefits for the people; and [We did it] so that Allah knows the one who helps Him and His messengers without seeing [Him]. Surely Allah is Strong, Mighty." (57:25)

COMMENTARY: Alongside 'the Book' and 'the Balance', a third thing was sent down, that is, 'the iron'. The verb 'sent down' in relation to the iron stands for 'created' because it was not sent down from the heaven. There are other occasions where the verb 'Anzala' [He sent down] is used in the sense of 'Khalaqa' [He created], as for instance in this verse: ("He sent down to you of the cattle eight couples ..." 39:6) In this verse, the verb 'Anzala' [He sent down] is unanimously used in the sense of 'Khalaqa' [He created]. This expression is adopted to indicate that everything in this world is 'sent down from the heaven' in the sense that everything that exists in the world was recorded in the Preserved Tablet long before it came into existence. HONEY & MUSTARD CHICKEN STRIPS

Ingredients
3 tbsp butter - 3 tbsp oil - 1 medium onion, minced - 1/2 cup tomato puree - 1/2 cup liquid honey - 1/4 cup cider vinegar - 1 tbsp worcester sauce - 1/2 tsp each of dried thyme, oregano, basil, paprika, pepper & salt - 1 tsp mustard powder - 500g chicken breasts, stripped - 2 tbsp olive oil to braise chicken - 1 clove garlic, minced - 200 ml fresh cream.

Method
Heat butter & oil in pot. Add onion & sauté until tender. Add tomato puree, honey, vinegar, worcester sauce & seasonings. Simmer until sauce is thick & glossy. Braise chicken in olive oil & garlic until golden-brown then add to sauce. Add water & fresh cream & simmer until done.

EVERYTHING IS LOST

I sold an item but it got lost in the mail. So I stopped by my local post office and asked them to track it down.
"It's not that simple," the clerk scolded. "You have to fill out a mail-loss form before we can initiate a search."

"Okay," I said. "I'll take one."

He rummaged under his counter, then went to some other clerks who did the same—only to return and confess, "You'll have to come back later. We can't find the forms."
