TURN TO ALLAH

The best cure for all ills and suffering today, is that we should turn to Allâh and express our sincere regret and apology for our misdeeds. We should pledge to keep away from His disobedience in future, and begin to offer our Five daily Salâh [prayers] regularly. Even children should be taught to cultivate a habit for Salâh. Allâh has emphasized in the Qur'ân as follows:

"Oh, ye who believe! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer for Allâh is with those who observe patience." Surâh 2 Âyah 153.

Sayyadina Mu'adh ibn Jabal Radhiallahu anhu narrates that he once heard Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam saying, "A person who does not go for Salâh after hearing the Adhân is committing a great wrong and is doing an act of blasphemy and hypocrisy."

The renowned saint Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Rahmatullah alayhi has said:

"You people have been totally negligent and careless about Allâh Tâalâ. It is high time that you wake up and connect yourselves to the Masjid and the path of the righteous ones. Make sending Salawaat upon Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam a regular habit and binding upon yourselves."

It is Sunnat to make Ghusl on Fridays at any time after Fajr Salaat until the time of Jumuah Salaat for those upon whom Jumuah is Wajib.

* Sessions urged to stand his ground in fight with Trump - US Attorney General Jeff Sessions is being urged by fellow conservatives to stand his ground as President Donald Trump escalates his assaults on the nation’s top lawyer in an apparent effort to make him resign.

* Robbery at chief prosecutor's office - The office of the chief public prosecutor in Pretoria was broken into, just two weeks after computers were stolen from the office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions.

* Another smash-and-snatch attempt foiled - A second incident of child snatching at a notorious smash-and-grab hotspot on the Cape Flats has been reported to police.

COCONUT CAKE

Ingredients
4 oz butter
½ cup sugar
3 eggs separated
1 ½ tsp vanilla essence
½ cup milk
1-cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 Cup coconut
Extra ½ cup sugar.

Method
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time. Add vanilla essence, milk, sifted flour and baking powder. Place mixture in baking pan and keep aside. In a bowl add egg whites and your extra ½ up sugar. Beat with eggbeater till thick. Then add coconut and beat again till the coconut mixture gets hard. Add this mixture on top of your cake mixture. Bake in oven on 280 for 40 minutes.
