Surah Al-Hadeed 57: - (The Iron) With the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful "...And we have indeed sent Nooh and Ibrahim, and kept the Book and prophet-hood (continuing) in their progeny. So, some of those (to whom they were sent) were on the right path, and many of them were sinners. [57:26] COMMENTARY: In the preceding verses it was mentioned that in order to give guidance to the world and to establish justice therein, Allah sent His Messengers and revealed to them the divine books and set up Balance. The current verses give specific names of some of those Divine Messengers. Among them, Prophet Nooh AS stands first in the list, because he is known as the second 'Adam' in the sense that all human beings after the Deluge were from his progeny. Then the Prophet Ibrahim Khalil-ullah (AS) is mentioned as he is the father of the prophets and recognized as an ideal for all the divine religions. It has been made plain here that all the Prophets and Messengers sent after these two prophets were from their offspring. Out of many branches of the progeny of Nooh AS the branch singled out for prophet-hood was that of Prophet Ibrahim Khalil-ullah (AS). After specific mention of these two Prophets, the whole chain of prophets is referred to by the words, "Then We made Our messengers follow them one after the other". Lastly Isa (AS) has been specifically mentioned, as he was the last among the Israelite prophets. Then the Last of all prophets Sayyidna Muhammad (AS) and his Shari'ah has a pointed reference in the next verse. ~ MA'AARIFUL QUR'AAN ~ |

| NATURE So Here's the thing about me I'm in love but not with a person… But instead, the melody of Nature. The soft sweet sound of the birds chirping by my window. The smell of the first raindrop as it hits the ground. The way the sky turns colourful as if God has allowed an artist to paint the sky Or how about the beautiful way the clouds transform, Not forgetting the magnificent creation of a Rainbow, And how the sky lights up every night with a Billion, Trillion, Gazillion stars that look like they are winking at me. The wind that makes the trees dance. The Silence of the night. How about when there's lightning and thunder which feels like its Striking deep within my soul, like a connection we are one. And before I forget to mention how fascinating I find sunsets talk about the definition of perfection. I'm addicted to the way all this makes me feel. The way the moon shines so bright and the sun burns a fire in my heart. I'm addicted to nature The beautiful sound, smell and sight of nature and how it makes me feel each and every day. No matter how bad of a day I have, when I look up I can't help but smile . To me that is what being in love should feel like. Crazy I know, but I feel complete when the raindrops touch my skin and the smell gives me shivers down my spine . Now that's love.... THE ADOPTION Jack and his wife Becky were delighted when finally their long wait to adopt a baby came to an end. The adoption center called and told them they had a wonderful Russian baby boy. Jack and Becky took him without hesitation. On the way home from the adoption center, they stopped by the local college so they each could enrol in night courses. After they filled out the form, the registration clerk inquired, "Excuse me but, what ever possessed you to study Russian?" Jack and Becky looked at each other and proudly said, "We just adopted a Russian baby and in a year or so he´ll start to talk. We just want to be able to understand him."
