All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of the Worlds. May peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, his household and companions. Fellow Muslims! Know that nothing exists in the Heavens and the earths except by the decree of Allaah and nothing desirable or detestable happens except by His Will. He says, “Verily, We have created all things with Divine Pre-ordainments. And Our command is but one as the twinkle of an eye.” (Al-Qamar 54:49-50) It is Allaah who plans and regulates all matters and He is Aware of what is in the hearts. He says, “Allaah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then He rose above the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round), each running (its course) for a term appointed. He manages and regulates all affairs, He explains the signs in detail that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.” (Ar-Ra‘d 13:2) read more |

It is reported of the Prophet (Sallallahu
Alayhi Wa Sallam) that if he saw something he liked he would
say 'Al-hamdu lil-lãhi 'allathee bini`matihi tatimmus-sãlihãtu,
"All praise is to Allah, by the Grace of Whom all good
things are fulfilled." and if he saw something he disliked
he would say, 'Al-hamdu lil-lãhi 'alã kulli hãlin'
"All praise is to Allah upon every circumstance."

A highly successful Manager was going home in his car when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed by the sight, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate. He asked one man: "Why are you eating grass?" "We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass." "Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you" the manager said. "But sir, I have a wife and five children with me. They are over there, under that tree". "Bring them along," the manager replied. Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You come with us also." The second man, in a pitiful voice then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and seven children with me!" "Bring them all, as well," the manager answered. They all got into the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as it was. One of the poor fellows turned to the Manager and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you." The manager replied, "Glad to do it. You'll really love my place; the grass is almost 1 meter high!" _*Lesson :* Never trust Managers ...
