THE TWO POTS

Two Pots had been left on the bank of a river, one of brass, and one of earthenware. When the tide rose they both floated off down the stream. Now the earthenware pot tried its best to keep aloof from the brass one, which cried out: ‘Fear nothing, friend, I will not strike you.’
‘But I may come in contact with you,’ said the other,
‘if I come too close; and whether I hit you, or you hit me, I shall suffer for it.’

MORAL: The strong and the weak cannot keep company.

Ingredients:

1 box Boudoir biscuits
100g Dairy Milk
Chocolate
1 egg
1 small tin nestle cream
2 tsp sugar
2 tblsp coffee
½ cup boiling water
1 flake

Method:

Mix the water and coffee together. Dip the boudoir into above mixture and place in a glass dish. Melt the chocolate, mix it with the egg and pour it over the Boudoir. Mix the nestle cream and sugar and pour water. Decorate with flake or as desired.

A young man asked an old rich man how he made his money.

The old guy fingered his worsted wool vest and said, “Well, son, it was 1932. The depth of the Great Depression. I was down to my last nickel. “I invested that nickel in an apple. I spent the entire day polishing the apple and, at the end of the day, I sold the apple for ten cents.”

“The next morning, I invested those ten cents in two apples. I spent the entire day polishing them and sold them for 20 cents. I continued this system for a month, by the end of which I’d accumulated a fortune of $1.37.”

“Then my wife’s father died and left us two million dollars."
