DOUGH
2 cups flour
¼ tsp salt
2tsp baking powder
125g butter
1 cup cold milk

•Place dry ingredients in a bowl, add butter, add milk and form into a dough
•Roll dough out thin and cut into rounds using a cutter.
•Place in greased muffin pan and bake till firm and not brown.
•Cool

FILLING
2 cups cubed chicken
1 onion chopped
1 tsp crushed garlic
100g butter
1 punnet mushrooms
1 cup diced peppers
Green chillies to taste
Salt to taste
3 tsp aromat
½ tsp black pepper
250ml fresh cream
3 tblsp maziena
215g sweetcorn
2 tblsp mayonnaise

METHOD
Sauté onions and garlic in butter. Add chicken and mushrooms, stir fry for a few minutes. Add pepper and spices, pour cream and maziena. Stir till thick and creamy.Remove from heat add sweetcorn and mayonnaise. Spoon filling in cups and sprinkle cheese.Ready to freeze.

It was a terrible night, blowing cold and snow in a most frightful manner. The streets were deserted and the local baker was just about to close up shop when a little, old man slipped through the door. He carried an umbrella, blown inside out, and was bundled in two sweaters and a thick coat. But even so he still looked wet, freezing, and bedraggled.

As he unwound his scarf he said to the baker, "May I have two poppy seed bagels to go, please?"
The baker said in astonishment, "Two bagels? Nothing more?"
"That's right," answered the little man. "One for me and one for Sherry."
"And who is Sherry, your wife?" asked the baker.
"What did you think," snapped the little man, "that my mother would send me out on a night like this?"
