From Wednesday, 23 September 2015 (Fajr) to Sunday, 27 September 2015 (Asr) Allah Ta’ala says (interpretation of the meaning): “That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of Allaah on appointed days” [al-Hajj 22:28] The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The days of Tashreeq are the days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah.” Narrated by Muslim, 1141. Description of the Takbeer: Beginning from the Fajr of the 9th Zul Hijjah up to the Asr prayer of the 13th, it is obligatory on each Muslim to recite the Takbeer of Tashreeq after every Fard prayer in the following words: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La Ilaha Illallahu, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillah ilhamd. (There is none worthy of Worship besides Allah and Allah is the
greatest, Allah is the greatest and to Allah belongs all praise.)
