THE MAN AND THE WOOD

A Man came into the Woods one day with an axe in his hand, and begged all the Trees to give him a small branch which he wanted for a particular purpose. The Trees were good-natured and gave him one of their branches. What did the Man do but fix it into the axe head, and soon set to work cutting down tree after tree. Then the Trees saw how foolish they had been in giving their enemy the means of destroying themselves.

No time for prayer, no time for the Word
The plan of worship is rarely heard
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free
Is found in the Qur'an - not on TV!

1 kg chicken fillet cubed
2 red, 2 green and 2 yellow peppers cubed
4 tomatoes cubed
3 onions cubed
4 tblsp Tomatoe sauce
4 tblsp Garlic sauce
4 tblsp Jalapeno sauce
4 tblps Mrs Ball fruit chutney
¼ cup lemon juice
4 oz butter
1 tblsp mustard seeds
1 tblsp ginger garlic paste
1 tblsp green chillies
2 tblsp honey

Method:
Marinate chicken with all the ingredients except butter, overnight or for a few hours Before cooking add in butter. Cook on a low heat. Enjoy

An elderly lady was well-known for her Iman and for her confidence in talking about it. She would stand in front of her house and say Alhamdulilah "Allah be praised" to all those who passed by. Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, "There ain't no Lord!!" Hard times came upon the elderly lady, and she prayed for Allah to send her some assistance. She would pray out loud in her night prayer" Oh Allah! I need food!! I am having a hard time, please Lord, PLEASE LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!" The atheist happened to hear her as she was praying, and decided to play a prank on her. The next morning the lady went out on her porch and noted a large bag of groceries and shouted, "Alhamdulilah, Allah be praised!." The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, "Aha! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn't." The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and said, "ALHAMDULILAH WA SHUKRILLAH”. He not only sent me groceries, but he made the devil pay for them!"
