MERS
OUTBREAK THREAT DURING HAJJ OVERHYPED?
"umm Abdillah"
Saudi Arabia has proposed a ban on sacrificing camels as part of
Hajj rituals this year. This comes amidst a rising death toll and
prevention of the spread of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus
(MERS-CoV) among pilgrims. In 2013 travel advisories forced roughly
a million pilgrims to forgo the trip to Makkah due to MERS. Some
experts believe these precautions are overhyped. Firstly, this isn't
the first time there's been a rapid upturn in cases in the Arabian
Peninsula just before the Hajj. Secondly, they believe there's no
reason to believe the virus has mutated to become any more contagious
than before. Thirdly, there have been no outbreaks during the equally
heavy umrah (lesser pilgrimage) seasons. read

Under
no circumstances should Salaah be left out. As long as a person
has the strength to stand up and offer his Salaah, he should stand
up. If he cannot stand, he should sit and offer his Salaah. He should
make his Ruku while sitting. After the Ruku, he should go down for
the two Sajdahs. He should make the Ruku in such a way that his
forehead comes in line with his knees.

RECIPE |
LEMON
GARLIC CHICKEN RECIPE
Delightful chicken with garlic cloves, vinegar and pepper garnished
with lemon, and basil. Ingredients:
4 chicken Breast Halves (skinless and boneless)
2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
2 tblsp Lemone Juice
1 tsp Paprika
Salt and Pepper according to taste
2 tblsp Margarine or Butter
½ tsp Lemon Zest (grated)
How to make lemon garlic chicken:
Drizzle chicken with salt, paprika and pepper. In a skillet melt
butter or margarine over medium-high heat. Combine chicken to skillet
when pan becomes hot. Fry chicken on each side till it is slightly
browned: it takes about 2-3minutes. Place the chicken on a baking
sheet. Sprinkle half of the lemon juice over the chicken. Bake it
in a preheated oven to 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Mix garlic to
the hot pan and fry till it appears brown in color; it will take
about 1to 2 minutes. Combine lemon zest to the pan after 2 minutes.
Reduce by half, then cover it and set aside. Combine lemon juice
over the chicken once again. Pour the remaining lemon juice over
the chicken once again. Bake for another 5 minutes. Take it out.
Place chicken over dish of rice. Spoon the sauce on it. Garnish
with some lemon-twists, sage or basil.
