His Eminence Sheikh Saudal-Shuraim –May Allah protect him– delivered this Friday Khutbah titled “Negligence: Its Negative Effects on the Muslim Ummah” in which he addressed the detrimental effects of negligence on the individual as well as the community, showing that it has been sharply censured in both the Book (Qur’an) and the Sunnah, in the words of scholars, wise people and poets. Sheikh al-Shuraim mentioned two examples from the Sunnah that censure negligence both on the individual and communal levels. read more

Ingredients:
Polony – as required
Cheese – as required
Salt & pepper – to taste
Paste (water – flour)
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp green chillies
½ tsp white pepper
1 dessert spoon mayonnaise
1 dessert spoon ghee / butter
lemon juice
chopped dhannia
water & milk (mixed)

Method:
Slice polony into circles. Apply paste. Add cheese and flavour with salt & pepper. Cover with another polony, press & stick together. Make batter with flour, baking powder, chillies, pepper, mayonnaise, ghee / butter, lemon juice, dhannia, water & milk mixture. Dip polonies in batter and fry.

WOMEN SACRIFICES

Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, ten men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, otherwise they were all going to fall.

They weren't able to name that person, until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids, or for men in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.

As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping their hands...
