Surah Al-Hashr (The Mustering, Bringing together)

This Surah was revealed in Madinah, and it has 24 verses and 3 sections

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful

"He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.” (59:23)

COMMENTARY: The attribute AL-Aziz means 'the Almighty'.
The attribute AL-Jabbar means the One who is dominant. It could also be derived from the word Jabr, meaning to 'join broken bones' and thus we have the word Jabirah, which refers to the bandage or plaster that is used in binding the broken bones. From this point of view, the attribute would mean that Allah is the Being Who sets aright every broken and useless things, matters or restores all losses and rectifies situations or mends every breakage.

DUA'A FOR MY HUSBAND

O Allah! I thank you for granting me the one who is a garment for my soul...
Who will satisfy half of my Deen and in doing so making me whole...

Make him righteous and on your path in every way...
and let him sprinkle water on me at Fajr reminding me to pray!

May he earn from Halaal sources and spend within his means...
May he seek Allah's guidance always to fulfill all his dreams

May he always refer to the Qur'an and Sunnah as his moral guide...
May he thank and appreciate Allah for the woman at his side...

May he honor, protect me and guide me in this life, pleasing Allah!
Make me worthy to be his loving wife...?

And finally, O Allah!
Make him abundant in love and laughter...
In Taqwa and sincerity In striving for the hereafter!

May he choose me as his Queen in Jannah...

Method

WHAT DID YOU EAT THERE?

Two lions escape from a zoo.
One of the lions had been captured from the jungle, so he runs back to the jungle.
The other was born in the zoo itself – so it is basically a city-slicker. He vanishes into the city.
Three days later the jungle-lion is recaptured – and returned to the zoo.
A month passes, then two, three… but the city-lion is not traceable!
Finally, after six months later the city-lion is also recaptured and brought back to the zoo.
The jungle-lion is amazed to see his friend.
Jungle-lion: For God’s sake, how were you able to evade these guys for 6 whole months?!
City-lion: Kuchh nahi yaar! (Nothing much, dude!)
I just went to a government office and hid behind a huge pile of dusty files that they have there.
Jungle-lion: But what did you eat there?
City-lion: Oh! there was an unlimited supply of government servants.
Whenever I ate one, they hired five more.
Nobody did any work anyway, so nobody missed the ones I ate.
Jungle-lion: Wow! But, then how did you get caught?
City-lion: Galti kar gaya yaar… (I did just one mistake…)
One day I ate the chai-wala (Tea Seller).
The whole office stopped working.
They launched a massive hunt for the Chaiwala.
And I got caught!!!
