MAINTAINING VIGILANCE AND CAUTION

His Eminence Sheikh Saud Al-Shuraim -may Allah protect him- delivered the Friday Khutbah titled “Maintaining Vigilance and Caution” in which he spoke about the importance of vigilance to both the individual and society. He also called for a balance between excess and negligence as a necessary course of action. The Sheikh supported his argument with evidence from the Holy Qur’aan and the Prophet’s (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) Hadeeths.

Praise be to Allah! We praise Him, seek His assistance and forgiveness, and return unto Him repentant. We seek shelter in Allah from evil inherent in our own selves and from our sinful deeds. Whomever Allah guides will never be misguided by anyone else and whomever Allah misguides will find nobody else to offer him guidance. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Servant and Messenger of Allah.

Life in the herein is quite distracting and deceitful. In his lifetime, man oscillates between good and evil, joy and grief, wealth and poverty, and victory and defeat. Life’s days keep alternating between opposite states of affairs, and its nights are replete with unpredictable happenings only known to Him Who decrees them (Allah). As at (04/06/2015)

1 kg chicken fillet washed,cubed and drained
to chicken add:
salt to taste
green chillies to taste
2 tbslp crushed garlic
1 tsp jeera
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp lemon pepper
cubed green pepper.
cook on low heat and when it is done add a tin of creamstyle sweetcorn, then cook again. cool.

Add the following:
1 cup grated tussers cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated gouda cheese.
mix cheeses with chicken mixture well.

Fill samoosa purr with this mixture and shape like a rocket, using flour paste.
make sure that all edges are sealed. dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs.

A large notice in a shop window announced a big sale, with sweeping reductions, starting at 9am. An enormous queue had started to form by 7-30 a.m.

Just before the shop was due to open, an inconspicuous little man walked to the head of the queue. Angry women elbowed and pushed him until he was right at the back of the line. Undaunted, the little man went to the head of the queue again.

Once more, he was shoved unceremoniously to the back, this time with a few smacks on the face and a couple of thumps from umbrellas wielded by angry women.

The little man walked to one side of the queue and said: "If that's your attitude, I won't open the shop at all today!"
