THE STORY OF TWO COWS WITH AN AMAZING MORAL!!!

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two cows in it. From a distance, each cow looked like any other cow.

But if you took a closer look you would notice something quite interesting. One of the cows is blind. His owner has chosen not to do away with it, but has made him a safe and comfortable barn to live in. Now that is really wonderful.

If you stood nearby and listened, you would hear the sound of a bell. It is coming from a smaller cow in the field. Hung around the Cow’s neck is a small, silver-coloured bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other Cow is, so he can follow.

As you stand and watch these two friends you’ll see that the Cow with the bell is always checking on the blind Cow, and that the blind Cow will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other Cow is, trusting he will not be led astray.

When the Cow with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, he would stop occasionally to look back, making sure that the blind friend isn’t too far behind to hear the bell.

Moral of The Story: Like the owners of these two Cows, Allah does not throw us away just because we are not perfect. Or because we have problems or challenges. He always watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind Cow, being guided by the little ringing bell of those who Allah places in our lives. And at other times we are the guide Cow, helping others to find their way.

Sayyadina Ibn Umar Radiyallahu Anhu reports.. "Hafsah (my sister, Ummul Mu-mineen) related to me that when the time of Fajr began (Subh Saadiq), and the Mu-adh-dhin called out the Adhaan, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam performed two short Rak-'ahs".

Commentary: Regarding the Sunnah of fajr, it has been stated in most of the narrations that Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu'Alayhi Wasallam short- ened its Rak'ahs. A narration in the Sahih Muslim is mentioned that Sayyidina Rasullullah Sallallahu 'Alayh Wasallam recited the Surahs of Kaafirun and AI-Ikhlaas in this Sunnah. Other Surahs have also been reported in the Ahaadith. Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam has said. "How wonderful these two Surahs are, that they are recited in the Sunnahs of the Fajr Salaah".

CHICKEN STRIPS IN MUSHROOM AND PEPPER SAUCE

350g chicken breasts – cut into strips
1 onion halved and sliced
1 small green pepper thinly sliced
½ a punnet mushrooms – sliced
2 tablespoons oil
125ml milk or cream
1 tsp maizena to thicken
salt & pepper to taste
some garlic to taste
lemon juice

METHOD:
1. Fry onions in oil until glassy,
2. Add green peppers, garlic, mushrooms and cook for 8 minutes and season.
3. Add cream or milk and maizena – mix well.
4. Turn heat on low and add chicken, cook until done.
5. Serve with rice.

An old man walks into a coffee shop, sits down, and starts crying.
