Beginning from the Fajr of the 9th Thul-Hijjah up to the Asr prayer of the 13th, it is obligatory on each Muslim to recite the Takbir of Tashriq after every Fard prayer in the following words. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, (There is none worthy of worship besides Allah and Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest and to Allah belongs all praise.) According to authentic Islamic sources, it is obligatory on each Muslim, to recite this Takbir after every Fard Salaah. Whether you are performing Salah with Jama'ah (collectively) or on your own (individually) makes no difference. You must recite the Takbir. However, male Muslims should recite it in a loud voice, while females should recite it in a low voice. (Shami vol. 1 pg. 406) |

pecan loaf Ingredients 2 and ¼ cups cake flour 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp bicarb ¼ tsp salt ½ tsp cinnamon powder ½ tsp mixed spice 1 cup golden brown sugar 1 egg lightly beaten 1 cup buttermilk 3 tblsp melted butter 1 cup chopped pecans Method Sift dry ingredients and add in sugar. Mix egg, buttermilk and butter and add to dry ingredients Mix well, and then add pecans. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 180c for 30 -40 minutes Sauce Melt caramel treat with milk and pour over |

A STRAWBERRY AND A CUCUMBER A strawberry and a cucumber grew up in the same garden patch. They were best buds growing up. As they grew older, they decided it was time to branch out, leave home, and see the world. So they hitched a ride on a nearby vegetable cart and took off.
