A Quran teacher always advised her students to live by this Aayah: "And I hurried to You, my Lord, so that You'll be pleased."...

She told them, "This Aayah is what moves me. When I hear the Adhan and I am occupied and in the middle of something, I remind myself of this Aayah... and so i get up to pray."...

"When my alarm goes off at 2 am and I want to go back to sleep I remember "And I hurried to You my Lord so you'll be pleases.", and so i get up... etc...

Her husband had the following arrangement with her: on his way home from work he'd call her so she'll get the food hot & ready, so he can come home and eat & sleep...

One day he asked her to make Mahshi (stuffed grape leaves" - very time consuming. You wrap many of them and put the pot of them on the stove to cook). She had three more to wrap then she had to put them on the stove to cook. But the Adhan came in...

So she left the three remaining grape-leaves (which would have taken her five mins) and went to pray... her husband kept calling & calling & no answer. He came home and found her in Sujood and the food was not ready. He saw there were only three grape-leaves left. So he was upset and said, "You could have just finished them and put the pot to cook then pray!" There was no response. He went to her to discover that she had died in her Sujood! SubhanAllah, had she waited like any of us to "finish what’s in her hand" she would have died in the kitchen!

But a person dies upon what they lived on and by. And they are resurrected on what they died on.

Dough:

2 cups flour
¼ tsp salt
2tsp baking powder
125g butter
1 cup cold milk

Place dry ingredients in a bowl, add butter, add milk and form into a dough. Roll dough out thin and cut into rounds using a cutter.Place in greased muffin pan and bake till firm and not brown.Cool

Filling:

2 cups cubed chicken
1 onion chopped
1 tsp crushed garlic
100g butter
1 punnet mushrooms
1 cup diced peppers
Green chillies to taste
Salt to taste
3 tsp aromat
½ tsp black pepper
250ml fresh cream
3 tblsp maziena
215g sweetcorn
2 tblsp mayonnaise

Method:

Sauté onions and garlic in butter. Add chicken and mushrooms, stir fry for a few minutes. Add pepper and spices, pour cream and maziena. Stir till thick and creamy.Remove from heat add sweetcorn and mayonnaise. Spoon filling in cups and sprinkle cheese.Ready to freeze.
