Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "When your servant brings food for you and you do not seat him with you, you should at least give him a morsel or two out of it because he has prepared it himself.'' [Al-Bukhari]

Commentary: The sense of equality of people inculcated by Islam warrants that if a servant brings a meal to someone, the latter should make him sit by his side to take the meal with him. If this is not possible for a reason or another, then he should give some portion of the meal to the servant. He must not eat up the whole meal himself or leave for him only the leftovers. Alas! we should adopt the teachings of our religion.

Quick PIZZA

Ingredients:
1 cup cheese, grated
1 cup polony, cubed
1 cup tomatoes, cubed
½ cup green peppers, cubed
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons flour
Salt / Pepper to taste

Method:
- Combine all the ingredients and place into silver cups.
- Bake in a moderate oven until done.

Seeing is Believing Joke

My father and I both wear the traditional turban and often encounter strange comments and questions. Once, in a restaurant, a child stared with amazement at my father. She finally got the courage to ask, "Are you a genie?"

Her mother, caught off guard, turned red in the face and apologized for the remark. But my dad took no offense and decided to humour the child.

He replied, "Why, yes I am. I can grant you three wishes."
