One man thought that since everyone will bring milk, he could just hide a glass of water and pour inside the pond. As it will be dark at night, no one will notice. So he quickly went and poured the water in the pond and came back.

In the morning, the king came to visit the pond and to his surprise it was only filled with water! Everyone had thought, ‘I don't have to put milk, someone else will do it.’

Hence, when it comes to helping the Religion of Allah, and to make a change in society, do not think that others will take care of it. Rather, it starts from you; if you do not do it, no one else will.

The person said, “What shall I do with the baby of a camel O’ Messenger of Allah?” (I want one for a conveyance).

Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam replied, “Every camel is the baby of a camel.”

Commentary: The person thought that he would be given a small camel which is unfit for riding. In this hadith besides joking, it also points to the fact that a person should carefully listen and understand what the other person is saying.

Method:
Beat all the ingredients together and pour into ovenproof glass bowl. Place bowl in a tray of water and bake at 180C for 25 minutes. Remove and cool. Decorate with tin cream and grated coconut.
