Surah At-Talaq (The Divorce)
This Surah was revealed in Madinah, and it has 12 verses and 2 sections

In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Most Merciful

The Command descend among them... 65:12

COMMENTARY: The verse purports to say that Divine commands and decrees are revealed and work in the seven heavens and in the seven earths. The Divine commands or decrees operate in two ways: [1] Tashri'ee; and [2] Takwinee

Tashri'ee refers to laws divinely prescribed for people who are legally obligated to observe them. The Divinely legislated laws are revealed through the angels to the Prophets AS to be passed on to the humans and jinns. These laws pertain to articles of faith, worship, good morals, transactions and way ofliving. Adherence to them attracts reward and flouting them entails punishment. Takwinee laws pertain to the Divine decrees in connection with the creation of the universe or bringing it into existence from the realm of non-existence, its gradual growth and development, its phenomena of depletion and replenishment, and the phenomena of life and death. These decrees encompass the entire Divine creation. Therefore, if it be proved that between two earths there is atmosphere and distance, and that some kind of creatures inhabits it, even if that kind of creature is not legally bound by the Shari'ah laws, the description 'The Command descends among them...65:12' will still apply, because Allah's Takwinee decrees encompasses them as well. And Allah, the Pure and Exalted, knows best!

Ingredients

½ kilo chicken Fillet
1 medium onion
½ cup lemon juice –
2 tblsp Olive oil –
1 tsp crushed garlic –
2 tsp ground green chillies –
1 ½ tsp crushed jeeru –
1 tsp crushed dhana –
1 tsp salt –
¼ tsp cinnamon powder
¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped –
¼ cup fresh dhania leaves finely chopped.

Method: Cut fillet into cubes. Process onion lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and pour into a bowl. Add spices, parsley and coriander leaves to onion marinade. Combine marinade and fillet and leave overnight. Thread 2 to3 pieces of chicken cubes onto a toothpick or on a long skewer. Cook on a non stick pan or barbecue until done.
