IKRAM-E-MUSLIMEEN
|
By
Farana Lambat
Have
you sat back and wondered exactly what does it mean, we hear it
all the time but are we as “modern” Muslims educated
on Ikram-E-Muslimeen. Well basically it literally means to respect
every Muslim, and implies complete observance of the Islam code
for social conduct. It is but natural that we have to pay special
attention towards man of faith for every Muslim has in his heart
the light of Imaan however dim the light may be. We do not seek
more than rekindling this light and making every Muslim realize
or rediscover his hidden treasure. By making our social undertakings
subservient to the Devine Rules we are required to be a true symbol
of Imaan. It is an unquestionable fact that so long as the Muslims
were true to their religion they were honoured and respected everywhere.
A
Moamin is supposed to be a perfect and respectable man, striving
always to excel in virtues and avoiding all mean affairs which do
not behoove of him and above all he feels anxious for the welfare
of humanity at large, he tries to exhort the people to virtuous
deeds and in return for all these pious actions he never seeks any
worldly gain, but his main objectives is only the compliance of
Devine Commandments. He is prompted to adopt all this conduct solely
to attain the pleasure of Allah. When asked what was the best Imaan,
Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied “The
best Imaan is to love him who love Allah and hate him who hate Allah
and keep your tongue engaged in Zikr of Allah” and when asked
what else? Our Nabi (peace and blessing be upon him) said “To
wish for all man as you wish for yourself, and discard for others
that which you discard for yourself” (Mishkat) read

AN
INSANELY FUNNY CUSTOMER QUESTION!!
A
woman called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that
her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at
8:33 a.m.
I
explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but she couldn’t
understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane
went fast, and she bought that.
