HE TOLD A STORY OF AN AMERICAN NON MUSLIM MAN WHO WAS DISCUSSING ABOUT ISLAM WITH HIM WHILE HE WAS WATCHING LIVE ON BROADCAST OF SALAT ISHA FROM KAABAH.

The American man was so amazed of how crowded is the Masjid, more than 3 million Muslims were there at the last nights of the holy month of Ramadan, so crowded, so disorganized.

The Shaikh asked the Non-Muslim man: How long do you think they'll take to organize themselves in rows and start the Salaat?

He answered: at least 2-3 hours.

The Shaikh said: but the Masjid (HARAM) of Kaaba is 4 floors!

The man said: OH, this's will make it about 12 hours then.

The Shaikh said: put in your mind that they are from countries all over the world with different languages.

The American man said: THEN IT's IMPOSSIBLE TO ORGANIZE THEM BY ANY MEANS!!

Then the Salaat time came, and the Imaam, Shaikh Sudais of Makkah stood up and said (ESTAWOO)=Arrange yourselves

And within seconds, the whole scene changed and the crowd of 3 million Muslims arranged themselves in well-organized rows in NO TIME !!

The American man stared at the TV screen for a moment, and then said:

ASH-HADU AN LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH WA ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASOOLOLLAH.

(I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but ALLAH, and I bear witness that Mohammad is His Servant and Messenger)

SHAWARMA (PITTA BREAD)

Ingredients
5 cups flour - 1 ½ tsp fine salt - 10g sachets instant dried yeast - ¼ cup oil - 60g butter - 3 tbls sugar - 1 large egg - 400ml milk.

Filling
1 onion - 1kg steak – cubed and boiled or 1kg chicken – cubed - 1 tblsp Worcester sauce - 1 cup grated cheese - ¼ cup each of the following: peri peri sauce; mustard sauce; and tomato sauce.

Method
Melt butter and oil together. Add sugar and stir – add milk. Remove from heat and cool then add beaten egg. Put flour, salt and yeast in a dish and make a soft dough with the milk mixture – knead well. Allow to rise for approximately 3 hours. Divide into 12 portions and roll into small rotis. Place on a plastic sheet and allow rising. Cook on a tawa and slit when ready.

Filling
Sauté onion in ghee till light and pink – add meat. When mixture is cooked add sauces and cool. Add the cheese and mix well. Fill rotis add salad and serve.

Salad
Shred lettuce. Add cucumber – chopped. Onion chopped fine Carrot – chopped. Add mayonnaise salt & pepper to taste.
