Ya'laa Bin Murra Atthaqafi Radiyallahu Anhu narrates: I witnessed three miracles of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.
(First miracle) We were travelling with Him when we passed by a camel being used for irrigation. When the camel seen Him, the camel muttered and lowered its neck. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam stopped by this camel and asked, "Where is the owner of this camel?". When owner came forward. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "Sell this camel to me". The owner said, we rather give it to you as a gift O messenger of Allah. It belongs to the people of the house and there is no other means of income for them besides this camel. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "When you have mentioned this about it (I shall not purchase it), verily it has complaint to me of excessive work and insufficient forage, so be kind towards it."
(Second miracle) We carried on our journey until we came to a place where Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam took rest. (While He was sleeping) A tree uprooted itself from the ground and came towards Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam until it enveloped Him in shade then it returned back to its place. When Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam woke up, I informed Him of what transpired. He said: "It was a tree which sought permission from its Rabb to greet the messenger of Allah and permission was granted."
(Third miracle) We carried on our journey and passed by a place of water. A woman came to Nabi Sallallahu Alahi Wa Sallam with her son who was affected with jinn. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam held him by the nose and said: (Addressing the jinn within) "Go out! Verily I am Muhammed the messenger of Allah". We carried on our journey and when we were returning, we passed by that very same place. Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam asked the woman regarding the condition of her child. She said: "By the oath of that being who has sent You with the truth, we have not experienced any problem (regarding his affliction) since the day You were here." (Mishkaat pg.540, Sharhus Sunnah)

1 small tin sweet corn
2 eggs
¾ cup cake flour
Salt to taste
Spring onions chopped
Green dhania
Ground green chilies to taste
1 onion cut into cubes
1 Tbsp oil
½ cup cheddar cheese
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Spray muffin pan with non- stick spray. Pour mixture into muffins pans. Bake at 180C for +- 30 min, until golden brown. Serve hot.

CLEANING THE UTENSIL
Jabir Bin Abdullah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallah Alaihi Wa Sallam commanded that the fingers should be licked and the utensil should be cleaned (i.e. before washing it). Expounding the benefit if this, Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "As it is unknown which particle of food contains the Barakah." (Targhib, Vol 3, Pg 146/ Muslim)
Irbad Bin Sariyah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "Allah Ta'aala will fill the belly of the person in this world and in the hereafter, who cleans the utensil and licks his fingers after eating." (Tirmizi/ Ibn Majah, Vol 2, Pg 234)
Nubayshah Radiyallahu Anhu relates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "The utensil of a person who cleans it thoroughly supplicates for him saying, 'O Allah save him from the fire of Jahannam as he saved me from Shaytaan.'" (Mishkaat, Pg 368/Razin)
The utensil is sinless and its supplication will definitely be accepted. How great a benefit for this 'small' action? Many people have the habit of leaving some food in the plate. This is incorrect and it contravenes the Sunnah of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. Some people regard cleaning the utensil as an act of greed. This perception is erroneous.
We should never be shy to practice on the Sunnah of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam irrespective of who we are dining with. Always remember, perhaps this 'small' action can secure our Jannat.

Mr. Banuchie walks into a bank in Johannesburg and asks for the loans dept. He says he's going to Europe on business for three weeks and needs to borrow R10,000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so Mr. Banuchie hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank, he has the papers and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank manager and its staff all enjoy a good laugh at Mr. Banuchie for using a R500,000 Rolls as collateral against a R10,000 loan. An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, Mr. Banuchie returns, repays the R10,000 and the interest, which comes to R141.66.
The bank manager says, "Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow R10,000?" Mr. Banuchie replies...
"Where else in Johannesburg can I park my car for two weeks for only R141.66 and expect it to be there when I return?"
