DEBTS IN THE LIGHT OF SHARIAT
Q.
What is the rule regarding debts in shariat?
A. It is permissible, however as far as possible one
should try to abstain from taking debts.
Q.
Can the ceditor claim his belongings before the fixed date of payment?
A. Yes, if there is a fixed date of payment the creditor
still has the right to claim his belongings before that particular date.

Q.
On what items can a loan be taken?
A. A loan can be taken on any item that can be replaced
in its exact form. This means that animals etc. cannot be taken as loans,
as it is impossible to find two identical animals. ~Shami, Vol 5,

Q.
Will a change in price affect the loan?
A. No, it will not affect the loan. If a person loaned
a kilogram of wheat, which costed five Rands at the time of the loan,
and wishes to replace it a few months later, but finds that the same
item costs ten Rands, he will still be obliged to settle the debt, and
replace a full kilogram. ~Shami, Vol 5, Pg 162~
Q.
Will the debt be affected if the value of money decreases with the passing
of time?
A. No, the debt will not be affected. If a person took
a loan of hundred Rands and settles the debt fifty years later, when
hundred Rands is not of the same monetary worth anymore, he will not
be obliged to pay anything above that. ~Shami, Vol 5, Pg 162~

packet cracker cream biscuits
1 small onion – chopped
¾ cup boiled and shredded chicken
1 bunch spring onion
¼ cup peas
2 Tbsp chopped dhania
½ tsp vinegar
¾ tsp ghee
2 tsp flour
½ tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green chillies
¾ - 1 cup chicken stock
2eggs
And oil for frying.
Boil chicken with garlic & chilli paste and keep aside stock shred chicken in small pieces, heat ghee fry onion till ½ done add flour and braise add stock vinegar salt sugar pepper peas chilli and chicken mix well and make a thick sauce. Cool spread mixture over a biscuit and cover with another. Prepare all remaining biscuit. Beat egg, Dip in egg and deep fry till golden brown.

There was this man in a mental hospital. All day he would put his ear to the wall and listen. The doctor would watch this guy do this day after day. So the doctor finally decided to see what the guy was listening to, so he put his ear up to the wall and listened. He heard nothing.
So he turned to the mental patient and said, "I don't hear anything."
